Go Jump in the Lake. What does it mean? My sister wanted to know if it meant "give up" or "go for it". I told her it depended on the day. There are days when I'm sure I've got this whole "life" thing down to a science. I know where I'm headed, I know what I want. But more often, I am fumbling. The funny thing is, that it always seems to produce the same outcome. At the end of the day, everyone is well fed, the house is still standing and it's just me who is spinning in all directions with no idea where to go! So, starting today, I am using Go Jump in the Lake to just "go for it" ... to start writing this all down, if only to hear the sound of my own voice.
I'm going to try to make this a regular thing. Keep it updated. There will be food (of course), there will be travel (duh!) and there will be all the rest ... the controlled chaos that seems to surround me everyday... that causes perfect strangers to walk up to me in the grocery store and suggest I need to meditate. So, swan dive? Cannon ball? Back flip? Doesn't matter. I'm jumping in!
